Electrified Opel Corsa GSE Concept (2025): Echoing the Performance of Lamborghini
The Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo, a concept car designed by the German automaker Opel, will make its debut in the Gran Turismo racing simulator after the September 2025 show. This stunning vehicle was unveiled at the IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich, where designer Mark Adams, Vice President of Design at Vauxhall, showcased some of its innovative features.
Despite not being intended for production, the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo boasts an impressive array of features. It sports a stripped-down interior, designed to accommodate only one person, and a maximum power output of an astounding 588 kW (800 PS). The car's acceleration is equally impressive, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just two seconds, and reaching top speeds of up to 320 km/h.
The Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo also features an increased battery capacity of 82 kWh, which contributes to its impressive performance. The car's steering wheel is a minimalist design, no more than a semicircle, and the dashboard displays all necessary information directly, eliminating the need for traditional instruments.
The car's weight is another standout feature, tipping the scales at 1.2 tons. However, it's worth noting that the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo is equipped with a unique feature that delivers an additional 59 kW (80 PS) for four seconds, providing an extra boost of power when needed.
