Dresden's Tech Scene Set to Boom with ExciteLab Accelerator Launch
Dresden's tech scene is poised to boom with the launch of ExciteLab, a new accelerator designed to nurture high-tech start-ups and boost the region's appeal to global talent and investors. This innovative space, a joint venture between Leipzig SpinLab and Technical University of Dresden, will focus on cutting-edge technologies such as IoT, semiconductors, and quantum computing.
ExciteLab's six-month program will commence in October 2024, with applications open until August 27, 2024. The program offers a wealth of support, including one-on-one mentoring, access to thriving start-up communities, pilot programs, industry events, and funding of at least 6,000 euros. This comprehensive package aims to foster the growth of young companies and enhance Dresden's competitiveness in the tech industry.
Backed by leading companies like Infineon, Mazars, and ZEISS, ExciteLab is set to become a significant driver of Dresden's growth as an economic and innovation hub.
