Dortmund & Lünen Team Up for E-Scooter Safety: Checks & Info Booth Planned
Borussia Dortmund Police and Lünen's municipal ordinance services are teaming up to improve traffic safety. An information booth will be set up in Lünen's city center, and targeted checks on e-scooters are planned in both Dortmund and Lünen.
On October 7, 2025, Borussia Dortmund Police will continue their efforts to combat the rising trend of e-scooter accidents. Checks will primarily take place in the pedestrian zones of Dortmund and Lünen, with employees of the municipal ordinance services assisting.
In addition to these checks, an information booth will be set up in Lünen's city center from 13:00 to 17:00. The booth aims to educate the public about traffic accident prevention.
