This innovation allows the platform to automatically generate product descriptions, streamlining the selling process. Meanwhile, Pinterest, a rival in the visual discovery space, introduced Shuffles in 2022 and collages to its main app in 2023, offering similar features to Depop's Outfits.

The Outfits feature, launched by Depop, enables users to style outfits using items from the marketplace. Users can create collages, adjust item sizes, customize backgrounds, find similar sold-out items, and share or save their looks. This interactive tool is designed to enhance user engagement and inspire creative expression.
