Dendrite: The Bluetooth Device Locator Hat Hits the Market
A unique Bluetooth device locator, Dendrite, has hit the market. This my location-finding hat, designed by SolidStat3, uses LEDs to point users towards their target device. Dendrite operates with four ESP32 microcontrollers, which measure signal strength to estimate the direction of a Bluetooth device. The estimated direction is then displayed via a ring of addressable LEDs around the perimeter of the hat. However, users cannot see the LEDs while wearing the hat, requiring assistance or removal of the hat to view the direction.
