Delabs Games and YGG collaborate to roll out GIGACHADBAT on the Abstract blockchain.
In an exciting development for the blockchain gaming industry, Delabs Games and Yield Guild Games (YGG) have announced a new partnership aimed at connecting blockchain titles with a global audience. This collaboration will see the launch of GIGACHADBAT, a quirky baseball-inspired game, on Abstract Chain on September 18, 2025.
Delabs Games, the Web3 arm of South Korea's 4:33 Creative Lab, is backed by Hashed, Spartan Group, and TON Ventures. The team behind Delabs has built some of the world's most successful games, including titles such as Rumble Racing Star, Boxing Star X, and Ragnarok Libre. With over 25 million users in its ecosystem, Delabs is poised to bring its gaming expertise to Web3.
James, a 25-year industry veteran and former Nexon CEO, plays a significant role in Delabs Games. He is responsible for creating iconic games like MapleStory, KartRider, and Dungeon Fighter Online. His experience and leadership will undoubtedly contribute to the success of GIGACHADBAT.
Gabby Dizon, co-founder of Yield Guild Games, expressed admiration for the Delabs team. YGG also has stakes in both a strategic funding round and a Series A during 2024. The other participant in the publishing deal for GIGACHADBAT besides Yield Guild Games is HYZAG, which acquired stakes in the same funding rounds.
GIGACHADBAT is designed for fast sessions and simple mechanics, making it accessible to a wide audience. The game will debut on Abstract Chain on September 18, 2025, and a special launch event is scheduled for September 22 during Korea Blockchain Week (KBW) 2025.
One of the unique features of GIGACHADBAT is an exclusive GIGACHADBAT map inside LOL Land. Players can swing, score, and trade their points for YGG tokens and Abstract XP. This integration with existing popular platforms is expected to help GIGACHADBAT reach its full potential.
JC Kim, a recognized Web3 builder, leads Planetarium Labs and developed Verse8, a next-gen AI game engine. His expertise in the field is expected to contribute significantly to the development of GIGACHADBAT.
