Cupra Unveils Tindaya Showcar: A Design Milestone Blending Art and Tech
Cupra has unveiled the Tindaya showcar at the IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich, marking a significant milestone in the brand's design journey. The concept car, developed by Herzog & de Meuron, is a blend of art, technology, and emotion, set to influence future Cupra road cars.
The Tindaya is built around three core concepts: Origins, Alive, and Transformation. The 'Origins' concept features saloon-style doors and driver-oriented elements, intensifying driving emotions. The 'Alive' concept includes a reactive glass prism and interactive features, giving the car a 'living' machine feel. The 'Transformation' concept features dynamic exterior colors, wheels, and surfaces that change with movement.
The project took 15 months to complete and serves as a creative lab for future Cupra models. Cupra considers the Tindaya a design milestone, reflecting the brand's willingness to push boundaries and blend car design with art.
