In the picturesque town of Neustadt/Ehrenberg, the Prangenberg Companies hosted a successful economic reception, providing a charming and authentic presentation of their business. Approximately 250 guests, including representatives from business, politics, and administration, gathered to discuss current developments, set new impulses, and shape perspectives for the region's future.

The event, a reception of the economy, was supplemented by Sparkasse Neuwied, Rhein-Zeitung, Süwag AG, and Syna. The Crafts Alliance in Neuwied and the Crafts Guild of the Rhein-Westerwald district, IHK Koblenz, and the Economic Development Corporation of the Neuwied district were part of the organizing team. The Master Craftsman of the district, Ralf Winn, praised the efforts of the hosts and invited guests to network in a specially set-up and culinary event course.

Landrat Achim Hallerbach, the district's top administrative official, emphasized the economic power of the Rhein-Lahn district and called for a return to values such as diligence, discipline, predictability, and reliability. He also highlighted the importance of securing skilled workers through empathy for the mindset of young talents.

In his lecture, "Generation Z - Learn to understand the mindset and worldview of the young," Sven Eßwein, the guest speaker, discussed the values and expectations that characterize Generation Z, particularly regarding the economy and digitalization. This generation, digital natives, expects seamless integration of digital tools in all aspects of life, including economic transactions, work, and communication. They value transparency and authenticity from companies and economic actors, are flexible and individualistic, and prioritize social and environmental responsibility. They also expect innovation and speed, and place a high value on education and lifelong learning.

To engage effectively with Generation Z, both as consumers and employees, Eßwein emphasized the need to adapt economic and digital strategies to meet their expectations.

Landrat Hallerbach also outlined a four-point program to achieve this goal. The program includes a noticeable reduction in bureaucracy and a message to allow a new error culture. He advocated for smart and targeted investments within the framework of the current federal special assets.

The economic reception in Neuwied district is an annual meeting point for these discussions, fostering harmony between economic prosperity, secure jobs, and fair future opportunities. The AH-Singers from DJK Fernthal performed on the main stage, adding a lively and entertaining touch to the event.
