Complete the Mobility Survey of BBM 2025: Discovering the true needs and desires of employees
The Association of Business Mobility e.V. (BBM), in collaboration with Dataforce, is conducting the BBM Mobility Survey 2025. This trend study on employee mobility aims to provide detailed insights into how employees in Germany are getting around.
The survey, titled "What employees really need and want," is open to all companies and individuals who are professionally mobile, regardless of industry or company size. Participation is anonymous and runs until October 5, 2025, in compliance with data protection regulations.
Last year, over 2,870 employees participated in the survey, with an average commute length of 23 kilometers. The most frequently used means of transport was the car, with over 60 percent of respondents relying on it for commuting. Interestingly, around 50 percent of the respondents expressed a desire for better offers from their employer in terms of sustainable mobility solutions.
Axel Schäfer, Managing Director of BBM, stated that the goal of the BBM Mobility Survey 2025 is to gain detailed insights into mobility behaviour, capture trends, and create the basis for sustainable mobility solutions. The results of the survey will serve as the basis for these solutions.
The results of the survey will be presented at the National Conference on Business Mobility (#NaKoBeMo®) at the end of November. Companies like Fraport, Würth, and Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe, who have demonstrated best practices in sustainable employee mobility, will present their strategies at the conference.
Companies can also receive an individual evaluation of the data anonymously. The survey can be accessed directly here. All employees are encouraged to participate to contribute to the creation of sustainable mobility solutions for the future.
