Sono Group's innovative solar technology, designed to be seamlessly integrated into various vehicle architectures, can now be found in recreational vehicles, cars, buses, and refrigerated vehicles. The technology, which generates up to 8.8 kWp with an area of just under 54 sqm, is engineered to extend vehicle range, reduce fuel costs, and lessen CO2 emissions, promoting climate-friendly mobility.
In a bid to collect extensive solar data for the optimization of the innovative solar technology for use on vans, Sono Group has equipped a test vehicle with 4 light irradiance sensors on the sides and roof. This vehicle will be on the road for 12 months in Berlin, Brandenburg, and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
