Brazilian AI Proptech Lastro Raises $15M for Real Estate Revolution
Brazilian AI proptech Lastro has secured $15 million in Series A funding, led by Prosus Ventures. The company aims to revolutionise Brazil's real estate industry with its AI platform that streamlines transactions on WhatsApp.
Lastro's platform integrates with Brazil's largest listing portals, aiming to transform the fragmented real estate market. It features Lais, an AI agent that engages with clients, reducing response times from 6 hours to a mere 15 seconds. Prosus Ventures' investment brings global reach and experience in scaling technology companies to Lastro. Other participants in the round include FJ Labs, Endeavor Scale-Up Ventures, Canary, QED, and 1Sharpe Ventures. In total, Lastro has raised $20 million to date.
With its successful funding round, Lastro is poised to become one of Brazil's leading AI startups and expand globally. Its AI platform, which boosts conversion rates by up to 60%, is set to transform real estate transactions in Brazil and beyond.
