CFMoto Returns to India with Two New Models in 2025
Brand unveils CFMoto 750SR-S, marking its debut as First Inline-Four Motorcycle from the manufacturer
Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, CFMoto, is set to make a comeback in the Indian market in 2025, bringing with them two new models: the CFMoto 450MT and the CFMoto 675 SR-R.
The CFMoto 450MT: A Tech-Forward Adventure Bike
The CFMoto 450MT is a mid-sized adventure motorcycle, powered by a 449cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine. This bike produces 44 BHP at 8,500 RPM and 44 Nm torque at 6,250 RPM, with a 270-degree crankshaft for smoother power delivery.
The 450MT boasts advanced technology such as a 5-inch full-color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity for calls, navigation, and music control. It also features switchable traction control, dual-channel ABS with off-road mode (rear ABS can disengage), full LED lighting, and over-the-air (OTA) updates. The bike's chassis includes KYB fully adjustable suspension with 200mm travel, 220mm ground clearance, and a 6-speed gearbox with slip-and-assist clutch. Fuel efficiency is expected around 25-30 km/l, making it suitable for versatile terrains and surpassing comparable bikes like the Royal Enfield Himalayan in tech sophistication.
The CFMoto 675 SR-R: A High-Performance Sportbike
The upcoming CFMoto 675 SR-R is a 675cc inline 3-cylinder racing bike, focused on performance. While exact power figures are less explicitly detailed, the engine displacement and configuration suggest strong acceleration and performance oriented for track and sport riding.
The 675 SR-R includes features important for racing and sport riding, such as adjustable damping suspension, advanced traction control systems, and high-performance components like a likely single-sided swingarm and aerodynamic aids (winglets) for downforce at speed. The bike also integrates modern electronics including a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth and connectivity features.
The CFMoto 750SR-S: A New Sportsbike for the Global Market
A third model, the CFMoto 750SR-S, is also set to make its global debut at the upcoming EICMA 2025. This sportsbike features modern features such as keyless smartphone-based start, cornering lights, emergency brake signals, tire-pressure monitoring, OTA software updates, and Insta360 camera integration. The bike's design includes sharp LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, giving it a track-influenced vibe. The engine can produce 110 bhp peak power at 10,250 rpm and 80 Nm of maximum torque at 9,000 rpm.
The 750SR-S comes equipped with KYB suspension, Brembo brakes, and a six-axis IMU that enables cornering ABS and traction control. The bike features a tall windshield and a chunky fuel tank, contributing to its masculine vibe. An optional rear-wheel cover is available, claimed to offer improved aerodynamics.
In preparation for its second innings in India, CFMoto is planning to set up a comprehensive sales and service network in the country. They are currently having discussions with a new distributor to ensure a smooth entry into the market. Let's welcome CFMoto back to India and look forward to their new offerings!
