Apple's Upcoming iPads, MacBooks & Vision Pro Leaked: FCC Documents & Rumors Reveal Details
Apple fans are eagerly awaiting the launch of new products, with recent FCC documents hinting at upcoming iPads, MacBooks, and the Vision Pro. A Russian YouTuber has also shared an unboxing video of the suspected M5 iPad Pro, adding fuel to the rumour mill.
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports that the M5 MacBook Pro is nearing mass production, suggesting an imminent release. The model number A3434 is believed to be associated with this new MacBook Pro. Meanwhile, the FCC documents list model numbers A3357 to A3362, which are likely to refer to the M5 iPad Pro.
The second-gen Vision Pro may not be ready until later in 2025, but Apple could still spring a surprise in the remaining months. Despite Apple's confidentiality request, FCC documents have revealed a new Vision Pro model, indicating that the launch might be closer than expected. The new Vision Pro is anticipated to be a cautious update, rather than a major overhaul from its predecessor.
Apple is expected to announce iPads and MacBooks at a second fall 2025 event in October, with the M5 iPad Pro and the M5 MacBook Pro taking centre stage. The new Vision Pro is also likely to make an appearance, although it may not be a significant departure from its predecessor. Looking ahead, Apple is working on a cheaper and lighter Vision Pro, and a tethered-to-Mac version, both scheduled for release in 2027.
