AI Platform Aydi Secures $7.5M for AI Agronomy Assistant Orth

Aydi, an AI-based platform for global agriculture, has secured $7.5 million in seed funding. The investment round was led by COTU Ventures, Daltex, and Nuwa Capital, with Magrabi Agriculture and Foundation Ventures also participating. The funds will be used to introduce and scale Orth, an AI agronomy assistant.

Orth, launching today at Fruit Attraction in Madrid, provides personalized real-time insights to empower growers facing rising input costs and climate volatility. It uses satellite and weather monitoring, predictive analytics, and conversational AI to deliver plot-level precision. Orth aims to achieve over 20% improvements in yield and efficiency for farmers.

Aydi's founder, Hassan Fayed, noted that 90% of growers lack access to timely agronomic expertise. Orth aims to change this by providing accessible, timely advice. The platform plans to scale Orth into a full AI Operating System for Global Agriculture, aiming to reach millions of farmers worldwide. The funding will support this expansion.

Aydi's $7.5 million funding round will enable the introduction and scaling of Orth, an AI agronomy assistant. Orth's launch at Fruit Attraction in Madrid signals the start of Aydi's mission to provide accessible, timely agronomic expertise to millions of farmers worldwide, improving yields and efficiency.
