Ad Signal Secures £3M for Content Intelligence Expansion

Ad Signal, a UK-based provider of content intelligence for the media and entertainment industry, has secured £3 million in funding. The company's proprietary technology helps media businesses analyze and manage image, video, and audio content more efficiently, serving major clients such as Sky and Clearcast.

Founded in 2018 by Tom Dunning and Mike Duffy, Ad Signal is headquartered in York and provides content management solutions for the broadcast, advertising, and media industries. The company will use the funds from its latest round, led by Foresight Group, to accelerate new product development and expand its commercial footprint.

Ad Signal's client list includes prominent names like Sky, Clearcast, and the Broadcasters' Audience Research Board. The company aims to attract international institutional investors and strategic local partners in its next funding round, scheduled for 2025. This follows a trend seen in comparable fast-growing tech firms like Demand AI Group, which secured funding from similar groups to expand globally and scale operations.

The funding round, completed in May 2025, will enable Ad Signal to enhance its technology and reach new markets. With its current client base and growth potential, Ad Signal is poised to make a significant impact on the content management landscape.
