📣 Breaking News Alert! 📣 T-Mobile's groundbreaking achievement isn't just about record-breaking speeds - it's all about the future! With a mind-blowing 550 Mbps uplink speed using 5G Advanced tech, they're redefining the game in the sub-6 GHz spectrum.

In a live demo with pals Nokia and MediaTek, T-Mobile set a new record in a commercial site in Seattle, becoming the first in the world to do so with Release 17 UL Tx Switching. traditionally focuses on download speeds, but with interactive, real-time future applications on the horizon, uplink speeds are the new hot topic.

Curious about who benefits from these lightning-fast upload speeds? Content creators and gamers, baby! Picture this: uploading 4K video, playing games in real-time, or powering a VR headset with pinpoint precision - T-Mobile's already building the network for that future, focused on the best customer experience.

"Download speed obsession is so last century," said Ulf Ewaldsson, Tech President at T-Mobile. "We see what's coming, and uplink's the next big thing. This record proves that T-Mobile's only getting started!"

T-Mobile's impressive record-breaking 5G Advanced uplink speed came from implementing 3GPP Release 17 UL Tx Switching feature, with smart multiplexing techniques to maximize user throughput on available device Tx chains.

"Boosting uplink speeds is like climbing Mt. Everest without oxygen masks - tough," said Tommi Uitto, president of Mobile Networks at Nokia. "This achievement shows that T-Mobile's a mountain goat, determined to bring us the network of tomorrow!"

The whole thing took place using 100MHz of TDD spectrum (n41) and 35MHz of FDD spectrum (n25), with a MediaTek smartphone flagship test device packing an integrated M90 modem.

"Teaming up with T-Mobile fuels innovation, shapes the network of the future, and delivers mind-blowing experiences for customers, one record-breaking achievement at a time," said HC Hwang, general manager of wireless communication system and partnership at MediaTek.

This isn't the first time T-Mobile's broken records. They've pushed the limits since 2022, breaking their own record multiple times, from 275 Mbps to 345 Mbps using Release 16 UL Tx Switching, and finally surpassing 500 Mbps this year with Release 17!

What does this mean for you? Faster, smoother, and more efficient gaming, video uploads, and virtual reality experiences, ready for the future of AI and XR applications. Thanks to T-Mobile, staying ahead of the curve is a cinch! 🚀🚀🚀
