2025 Inc. 5000 Recognizes RenderATL Among its Top 6 Companies

RenderATL, a Black-owned tech and culture conference based in Atlanta, has made a significant impact in the tech industry. Founded in 2020, the conference has rapidly grown into a nationally recognized event, ranking No. 348 on the 2025 Inc. 5000 list [1].

This prestigious list, published by Inc. magazine, honours the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. The top 500 companies will be featured in the Fall issue of the magazine [2]. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2021, and must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent [3].

RenderATL offers a unique blend of cutting-edge workshops, cultural experiences, and networking opportunities. Attendees and speakers describe it as a dynamic, community-focused event that provides invaluable insights into the tech industry, particularly from the perspective of Black innovators and entrepreneurs [2][3].

The conference draws a diverse community engaged in technology and culture. In 2025, the June edition attracted 8,000 participants, demonstrating the event's growing popularity [4]. Each year, RenderATL attracts thousands of developers, founders, and tech leaders from across the country [5].

RenderATL's rapid growth can be attributed to its focus on elevating underrepresented voices in tech and creating spaces for networking, learning, and collaboration within Black tech ecosystems. This growth has led to national recognition, as seen in the Inc. 5000 ranking, underscoring its influence and success in scaling its conference model [1].

Moreover, RenderATL has made a significant contribution to Atlanta's local economy. In 2025, the conference reinvested over $55 million into the city by supporting vendors and small businesses throughout the week [6].

The 2025 Inc. 5000 list ranks companies according to percentage revenue growth from 2021 to 2024. RenderATL is in the top 6% of all companies on the list, with a remarkable median three-year revenue growth rate of 1,552 percent for the top 500 companies [7].

Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. It's important to note that the 2025 Inc. 5000 list is not connected to the Roadmap to Billions Conference in NYC [8]. The Inc. 5000 Conference & Gala will take place in Phoenix from October 22-24, 2025 [9].

Justin E. Samuels, Founder and CEO of RenderATL, stated that being named to the Inc. 5000 list is a testament to the community that fuels RenderATL [10]. He emphasized that RenderATL is more than just a conference; it's a movement that celebrates Black tech talent and fosters a unique conference culture.

In summary, RenderATL began as a platform to centre Black tech culture in Atlanta and has expanded into a nationally recognized event with a strong growth trajectory, blending technology, culture, and community empowerment effectively [1][2][3].
